At the heart of MC Health Care Consulting are the Clinician Refocus Framework© and Sacred Vocation Program. These services empower all healthcare workers to reconnect with their passion and purpose while getting more time back at the bedside in direct patient care. By providing strategic guidance and personalized support, we help healthcare executives strengthen their leadership capabilities, improve organizational outcomes and foster environments where leaders and their teams can flourish. MC Health Care Consulting is your partner in driving meaningful change and building resilient, empowered healthcare teams.

"Being a nurse in a U.S. hospital today means you spend most of your time fighting for a spare second to ease human suffering. That's why I help healthcare leaders reclaim their passion, thrive in their careers, and make a lasting impact. Because when nurses flourish, they bring healing and hope to those who need it most."

WORK WITH ME

Dr. Megan Carter, founder of MC Health Care Consulting

Meet Dr. Megan Carter

As an experienced Nurse Executive turned Consultant, I empower hospital executives and nurse leaders to heal broken healthcare processes. With 17 years of experience as a hospital and nurse executive across the U.S., I developed the Clinician Refocus Framework© to address work overload and facilitate the Sacred Vocation program to combat burnout and reconnect healthcare professionals with the meaning in their work.

I’ve led dozens of nursing departments as well as large cardiovascular, stroke, orthopedic and critical-care service lines and guided hospitals in achieving disease-specific accreditations. A proud Duke DNP graduate and current AONL Nurse Executive Fellow, I’m passionate about improving clinician wellbeing and patient care. Let’s work together to heal this broken healthcare system in the US!

"Megan possesses remarkable leadership qualities, including integrity, empathy, and resilience. Her ability to inspire and empower others is truly exceptional as she has been a major influence in my career growth."
